Our Private Oasis

The Bel Air Ranch neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, nestled close to the confluence of two mountain ranges, the Catalina and Rincon. The area is a former ranch, and homes are mostly on 1+ acre lots and were built mostly in the 60's and 70's - this is not at all like the newer subdivisions which have grown up around Tucson in the past 25 years.  Tanque Verde Guest Ranch, one of the premier resorts in Tucson, is only a few minutes away. 

Looking for a Tucson vacation rental close to some of the best hiking in Tucson? The Desert Willow open space is a 10 min walk (1/2 mile) from our front door and is great for walking or running. Some of the best trails with views in Tucson are very close (Aqua Caliente Trailhead is 4 miles away).  

Coming to Tucson for road cycling, mountain biking, or gravel riding? Fantastic road cycling from out our front door, whether you are headed to the base of Mt Lemmon (4 mi), Saguaro National Park East (7 mi) or other great rides. Mount Lemmon has some of the best mountain biking in the Southwest, and great gravel rides nearby as well. Check it out. 

Coming for golf? We got that too. 

You won't find a better-situated vacation rental in Tucson on Airbnb or VRBO. Although you will feel immersed in nature in the tranquil desert landscape, you will also be close to amenities: 1 mile to our favorite Tucson restaurant (The Barnyard), 4 miles to more restaurants and shopping.  Tanque Verde Valley is our favorite part of Tucson. To make sure it is yours too please check driving times if there are other parts of Tucson you expect to frequent. Tanque Verde Guest Ranch is 10 minutes away, University of Arizona is 25 min, Oro Valley 45 min.
